Basically me(adam tanbouz) met Steve the drummer in high school, and we started messing around in his upstairs room, playing Limp Bizkit and Pantera covers, he had been playing with Matt the bassist for a while at that point, so we all formed a band... years later we decided to apprehend Schuylar as a vocalist, so basically we've been playing together for ages, but doing the He Is Legend thing for only about 3 or 4 years or so.

Aside from supernatural phenomena in outer space being our main influence, we all like different music, there are only a handful of bands that we unitedly enjoy, one of those bands happens to be Pantera.

Like a dinosaur circus, or a bunch of hairy Frankenstein babies lost in outer space, I dunno man we sound like every other band with drums, bass, guitars and vocals, we worship the riff.

Yeah, I sure can, its like our second or third one, its the one after "I Am Hollywood", its brown, it can occasionally be found in your local music retailer, people can buy it and use it to play our music, at that point they can decide whether or not they like the cd, in which case, lets be honest, they usually realize that it rules, and so it sorta just stays there in their cd player or computer, except on the computer they might have to take it out if they wanna play tekken 17, or doom, or oregon trail, or whatever and I guess they might take it out of their cd players in the car if they’re a dude and they like have to give their girlfriend a ride somewhere like and then I dunno they might play like R Kelly or something awesome like that, but after they do those things, 9 times out of like 10 or so, they usually put our new cd "SUCK OUT THE POISON" right back in, sometimes even while the girl is exiting the car.

The recording sessions were pretty brutal, Steve Evetts was like a slave driver, and I don’t mean like a plantation slave, or a war slave, I mean like he dressed us in bondage and made us wear weird leather muzzles and chains while we tracked our parts, actually, none of that is true, however, what is true is that an entire day was set aside to make sure that we could add a vibra slap track (rattlesnake noise) to our cd, and boy am I glad we did, shits awesome!

Me and Steve holed up in our special underwater rehearsal rooms for about a month and a half, that’s where we held special druid councils and consulted our rubics cube to construct logarithms that aided in our song writing.

To know what the lyrics are about, you’d have to talk to Schuylar, because he is the one that wrote them, but I think its safe to say that most of them are about Pantera.

I don’t really have favorite bands, but I think that the new Sunn and Boris album called 'Alter' is one of the raddest albums I’ve heard in a while and I also think the album artwork is some of the raddest I’ve seen.

Any tour that pairs us with Every Time I Die is going to be a blast for us, still one of my personal favorite tours was our first euro tour (with Atreyu & Norma Jean).

It’s coming up in January, its in Europe, and its going to be fun.

Oh yeah totally, one time, we were riding in the van, and we stopped to fill up on gas, and we thought the station was open, but sure enough, it was closed, so then we went across the street to the other gas station...phew! That was a close one!

Our future includes being awesome and riffs.
