Can you tell us more about your new album called « The God Of All Mistakes » ?

The god of all mistakes means for us hard work, we had been working on this album since 2006, and we put all things that we believe, we are very happy with the results, so just waiting for the tour and check out how the songs goes live!


How long have you been recording the album ?

We spent 15 days on studio recording and Tue mixed the album in Denmark at Antfarm Studios.


How did you proceed for the composition ?

We did some different things at this time, coz we have made lyrics first instead of the songs.

And then putting all things together, I’ve made all lyrics with Alan and all songs have been made by Alan and Andre. After composing 2 or 3 songs we have done a demo, just to hear how its sounds and then, start all process again till finish the all tracks!


You have worked with Tue Madsen for this new album. Can you tell us more about it ?

A unique experience, he is a very fuckin’ cool guy, very professional and helped us to do a very good work, his ideas made the difference in some songs, like Day 7, The God of All Mistakes and others! So just hopping to work with him on next album.


Who created the artwork ?

Mircea from Mnemic, did that, we were looking for a a good artist, and we tried a lot of different ones, but his work made us impressed, actually he put The God of All Mistakes conceptions in his art, and it were what we are looking for.


Are there certain songs on this album you want to mention or tell something about ?

I don’t know, I think Day Seven is special track , it was my first time singing using clean voice, I’m just learning yet, but the result and all the work involved make me happy and more confident on doing and trying different sing styles.


What’s your favourite song out of this new album ? And what makes them so special for you ?

I really like Day 7 and Undermind, The both tracks are very special for me because I sing with more melodic voices , my first clean choruses J


Can you speak to us about the promotional video for the track « Day 7 » ?

We are very proud of this, the work comes with compensation, we worked a entire day shooting, and playing more than 30 times this song to capture good angles and images, that’s it, the video came up very, very good.


Which songs from the album will you playing live ?

Everything will be played live plus songs from humanology and also Chaotic System.


Do you remember your first gig ? How did it go ?

Yes I do, my first show with eminence was here in Brazil in a big festival called ABRIL PRO ROCK, 10.000 people, and in Europe was in Switzerland in same year, fucking cool.


What are your touring plans for 2008 ?

We will be in Europe in September October to promote our new album.


Can you tell us an anecdote which particularly marked the band ?

When we arrived in Texas US, in 2003 to record the Humanology album .

What do you see in the future for Eminence ?

I see good things, I feel good vibes, we are working very hard to do everything professional and bringing good music for all ours fans and I hope to gain our lives just playing metal music!
