It's the second album from Eden's Curse and it carries on where the first album left off. We've upped the game this time around in all quarters with what I believe is a better set of songs, better individual performances and an even better production courtesy of Dennis Ward. The band is really clicking together and gelling like a well oiled machine!

Recording sessions for the new album were exactly the same as the debut with all the band members recording their separate parts in their own studios, with Dennis over seeing things from a distance, but still being involved (thanks to the world wide web). Finally Michael (Eden, vocals) and myself fly off to Germany to record his vocals. The band usually meet us the week or so after and we meet up, go shoot some photos, drink beer and lots of it, well, Pete (Newdeck, drums) and I do ha ha!

I usually find a dark room, turn off all the lights, drink beer and listen to lots of Metal, get incredibly drunk, then I start! LOL, no just kidding. i just write songs. I never stop, even when the album is done (I have half the third record written), I just keep putting songs to tape and when the time comes I whip out my ideas. I had some 40 ideas ready to rock and roll when AFM came looking for the new album. I will also email off ideas to Mike, Pete, Thorsten and Ferdy and work on material together. Pete gave us some wonderful ideas this time around and is extremely creative.

There are many subjects covered like betrayal, being introspective, standing up for being who you want to be, the bad side of the music business, the enivornment and being positive. I find inspiration from dailly life. Many of these songs are about personal life experiences or observations. It's always great having one or two friends who fall off the wagon now and again ha ha!

No, as much as we would like to, the label didn't want to invest in it.

Yep, I think it's one of the album highlights and it's a hit on myspace with over 120,000 unique plays! It was a song that took an awful long time to write - I had the main riff for so long and couldn't get anything to go with it. One day this perfect bridge and chorus arrived. Pete Newdeck was the main creative force behind the bridge and the wonderful refrain, as well as contributions from Mike, Thorsten and Carsten Schulz (Evidence One) on other parts. As Pete and I started working through the lyrics we devised it as an Angel and Demon speaking in turns. We felt that by adding a female voice would make the message even more powerful. Then it was a case of finding the right girl and we called Pamela and she said "I've been waiting for you. Come In!" :-) We're very proud of that song and we hope we can get Pamela to join us one day on stage.

They all mean something different to me, so it's impossible to pick a favourite. It's like you saying your prefer your oldest child the best!!

Right now we are working very hard on finding the right tour for Eden's Curse to join. This band WILL play live in 2009! We would like to find a band that suits us in styles that we can support throughout Europe.

Sure! I remember the first day that we arrived at Dennis' house for the debut album recording Mike and I were so high on adrenalin. I don't think we slept much the night prior and boy did we fall asleep that night. Anyway, I tell Mike over breakfast that he is quite possibly the worst snorer I have ever heard. He told me he lived with his brother for years and that his brother told him "you're the only guy that I have never met who doesn't snore". I said really ? So, the next breakfast I brought the subject up again and Mike told me I was talking shit. At that point I brought out the video camera ... HERE, have a listen!!! Game, set and match!! I slept on the sofa in the studio for the rest of the session ha ha!

Working on getting the band on the road. That is number one priority! I am collating ideas for the next record also, but slowly, at my own pace, but we want to play live first. That is our main aim right.
