First, can you remain to us the story of Cerebral Turbulency ? The band arrised in lately of 1993 as teenager duo (drums and guitar/vocal). Soon there are various members got enjoyed and out of the band. As far CT has overcome musical development easyly said: from thrash metal to grind core. Almost each release which the band released has got different line-up. As far there are five CD albums out plus two pro-done tapes (debut demo "right to choose" 1995 and 3way split with Gride and M. Tumour 1998) as well as one split EP with Indonesians TENGKORAK (CT put same stuff as on the 3way split tape...). During of those 13 years of existence we played some quantity of better or weaker gigs over Czech as well as over other countries of Europe.
Probably bands which we listen to and like so much...
Such mix of metal, grind and hard core.
The most dynamic stuff which we have ever released. Not only brutality, not only speed, not only pure masaker but many rhytms and riff arranges as well as some untypical elements making that stuff attractive but still keeping powerful and kicking. No strict experiments or total progress.
Just by relaxing on playing the quitar or drums individually. Time to time there arised some interesting riff or rhytms which we are going to grow up and connect with other rhytmes and riffs which are crawling from that first basic one or to another which we found earlier.... Usual way as many other bands use too....
Common themes around us. Sick brains, stoned brains, crazy acts of crazy people, reflections about society and so on...
Ši Mešiše!!! Simply MTV hit!!! ;-)))
Ufff, what to say??? That clip was made with no concrete idea, with no concrete theme, with no mission. Just strange prezentation of band with chaotic base. Now we think about new clip(s) with exact conception but nothing done in our heads yet....
My very popular bands are: System Of A Down, In Flames, Slayer, Laputa, Metallica, Kaviar Kavalier, Fear Factory....
Still same, it means still developing, growing up. I mean gig/festival organizer, bands, labels still very active and interested to the point of sense. Not all turns out well sometimes but it is natural....
In the fact, we don´t plan any other regular tour. It doesn´t satisfy us so much as before. That original enthusiasm is over. We are older and more lazy than earlier. We have our families, children, girlfriends, works and we have to share/save the holydays not only for band. We want to play only per weekends or time to time some short trip, let´s say 4-5 gigs in one line, not longer... We want keep the band to be enjoying for us. Long tour is hard in many moments, gigs as themselves and people around are great but it is only that nice top of the tour. Main (hard) points of the tour are traveling, boring and exhausting waiting before playing, shortage of sleep sometimes, shortage of hygienic needs sometimes.... It is adventure but not forever. Our last destination/dream is to visit/play once outside of Europe. Japan or Australia are prefered!!!
Oh man, there are so many various stories connected with traveling, playing, living about band that I cannot remember even one, right now ;-))) Yeah, I remembered one now!!! When we played in Kyiv (capital of Ukraine) some weeks ago we slept there, of course. In the flat Robin (our vocalist) connected his mobil phone transformator to electricity and start to load the battery which was empty. After some minutes later he had to rupture the loading because he had to take his phone somewhere else because of some reasons.... Suddenly Robin returns to us and screams: “look, look!!! Am I stoned, drunk or what”. We were looking at the display of Robin´s phone and it shows the loading of battery even the phone was not connected to the transformator. Result was: the battery has loaded to maximum and that phone was working other 3 or 4 days!!! What the nuclear mystery???!!! Maybe you know about accident of nuclear power station there in Cernobyl in 1986.... 50km far from Kyiv.... By the way, after we returned from Ukraine, we all are shining ;-)))
We think about DVD with 3 regular videoclips, some “live” sets, some interview, some new songs to record and put on, some private documents... Make proper distributioon to Crash Test CD, play some gigs, festivals.... and be happy.
Keep your
show alive and care for music around you as long and as much as
possible. Thanx for support and space here!!! |
