First, thanks for having accept to answer these some questions. Anytime! I just hope we make it to France sometime in our fucking lives.
Yes! It's definitely our best recording yet. The songs are very interesting and keep the listeners attention. It doesnt get old or boring. You get done listening to it and you want to hear it again, or so I'm told. Produced by Billy Anderson, written and recorded within a year.
Yeah we were looking for someone to do it and he was always on our minds. When we got ahold of him he freaked out and said we had to do it with him or else. So we were stoked on that. We knew he'd give us what we wanted, a fresh and thick recording. We got that and more.
They were pretty stressful. BIlly is very high strung, but is a fucking master of the controls. I'm super high strung as well. We butted heads a bit. I think that may have fucked me personally in the end. Oh well. He was a great guy and we had a great time recording. I just wish we didn't have the fucking time constraint that we did and I know Billy was bummed on that as well, but he worked some serious magic with it.
GOt home from touring, wrote and recorded a split 7" and then proceeded to write the record. We had a serious time crunch that was not enjoyable to work around so the record was stressful from the second we started writing until the last day of mixdown, almost a year. So our band has been a virtual pressure cooker over the past 3 years from constant touring and writing and recording. WHERE THE FUCK IS EUROPE AND JAPAN!!?!?!?!?!? We need to get out of this fucking country or we're going to combust.
Go to any mall, any theme park, any carnival or county fair, you'll see what we're talking about. SHitty humans. Lousy, festering people. Crap. Shit. Idiots. That's my neverending inspiration. The human race.
Wes Benscoter. We're pretty much going with him from here on out.
Probably "Alone At THe Landfill". I like it cause of the lyrics mainly and the outro and the lyrics in the outro. It's an "environmentally friendly" song. I'm not a fuckin hippie but I'm very environmentally conscious.
Chaotic, schitzophrenic death metal.
Death In June, Carcass, Coroner and my favorite album of all time is Symphonies of Sickness ... there's way too much to list here... I have a 4000+ music collection.
we have definitely in the past, but nothing right now. I'd like to do some solo stuff in the future. Not sure what to make of that yet.
It will be a great thing for us to accomplish. Not really a fan of any of that music. Misery Index shred though. Shall be a great time.
Yeah, the whole time we were recording the Homovore album, the battery on Gabe's distortion pedal was dying, that's why the album sucks so fucking bad. So by the end it was almost completely out of juice. Listen to the last song. SOunds like a country record.
Maybe a world tour? I'll do it even if it kills me. Or else I really see no need in doing this full time much longer. We need out. OUT. OUT. OUT. (of our country that is)
Metal Choc. As in chocolate. As in gluttony. As in
America.
