Can you tell us more about your new CD called « The Daily Grind » ?

The Daily Grind is our second full length CD after "Souls Of The Decedents".
After signing at Metal Blade we worked out 4 new songs for this CD so that we could release the CD as soon as possible! What not means that we took every fucking part and put them together ... We are very proud about the final and we hope our fans or those who will become fans like this "creation" and our music. ;)


Can you speak to us about the recording sessions ?

The recordings were of course very hard but nevertheless really funny together with Ali from HSB and Patrick and Ralf from Rape Of Harmonies.
In may we started to record the drum at the Rape Of Hramonies studios in Schmölln.
After that we began to record the guitar and bass in june also in the ROH studios in Triptis.
2 Weeks later Robert (vocs.) went to Regensburg to Slaughter´s Palace studios by Sebastian Reichl (Deadlock) to record the vocs ...
So ROH mixed and mastered everything and there was the final "masterpiece ! ;)


How did you proceed for the composition ?

We normally come together at the rehearsal and Steven and/ or André show their ideas to each other and then we practise all parts and play them unless we break together ;)


What are the lyrics talking about ? Where do you find inspiration ?

The lyrics are mostly about mental illness and a torment a girl had to life through ...
I or we take a lot of inspiration out of situations we had and or other kinds of violence and horror J


Who created the artwork ?

It´s made by me ... I do work as a freelance – designer ... it´s called "blacknightdesignstudios" check it out ;) ... yes, it´s already 1 year old or so ... but I still like it J


Did you film a promotional video ?

No, unfortunately not ... but I hope that will change very soon ! ;)


What’s your favourite track on « The Daily Grind » and why ?

It´s definitely "Sitting In The Wardrobe". This is one of our new songs and it´s very fast and has got very tight breaks and so, I/ we just like it J


Which songs from the CD will you play live ?

EVERY SONG !!! xD


What are your touring plans for 2008 ?

In October we´ll tour together with Aborted, Neaera and Textures through Germany, France and Belgium, I think ... I am not pretty sure about the countries right now :P
And of course some single shows all around Germany and some other countries ...


What are your favourite bands and all times albums ?

Momentary definitely Whitechapel "This Is Exile" and All Shall Perish "Awaken The Dreamers"…


Do you have funny or strange stories about the band you can share with us　?

That would be too much xD I ought to write down the order of events of every fucking show !! ahaha


What are your projects for the future ?

We will stay true to our music and will become better and better with the time !!
So stay tuned to hear from us at least at the third full length album.


And as a conclusion, can you say some words for my radio show called Metal Choc ?
