| Can you speak to us about your
album called "In The Disaster " ? ...Well, its our debut album on Metalblade Records, one that we worked very hard on the past year and it is motivated by our journey of being on the road while making our collaboration with Metalblade official.
...We all come together to create our material. there is not a song that was composed individually. i think thats why our material comes together well enough to make each member satisfied.
...a lot of the songs on the cd have been written this past year, however, i personally like "Heros of Faith" which is the last track on the album because although we wrote it for this album, its our newest work, and i like the growth of our band. that is just, however, my opinion.
...our music will definitely keep you on your feet and tuned into what we're going to do next. you can find a little bit of everything in our songs, and we're confident that it will satisfy your search for a new band.
...we each have a various amount of influences, but when it comes to music, metal is a big part of our lives, and it is strengthened by all of our other music influences.
...no, we each dedicate all of our song writing to A.L.E.S. however, we are a young band, and thats that for now.
...all i have to say is that gives us all the more reasong to keep playing metal music.
...oh man, this is a hard question to answer without having all of the band around me to add their favorites, but my personal favorite include early deftones albums, only because they remind me of high school and i remember how shocked i was to discover a truly original band. i also enjoy different style groups such as Maroon 5, Dave Mathews, Jason Mraz, to heavier stuff like Unearth, As I Lay Dying, Between The Burried And Me, some Burry Your Dead, DRAGON-FORCE, Bleeding Through, and the list goes on and on.
...how much time do you have?? i have tons of tour stories, but um, one that was most memorable was on last years Warped Tour when i was driving through New York on our way to Boston and we pull up to a toll booth, and i guess i was the only one willing to drive because we were all tired, and i all of a sudden fell asleep while i was in line to pay our way through, and John (front man) had to throw me out of the drivers seat because cars were honking and i guess until he woke up, we had been sitting in the middle of the road for a while.
...well, we are said to be on a Full-European tour in Spring of 2007.
...if i knew exactly, i would be happy to share it, but for the most part, you can expect to see us active and touring for the next year until we begin our next album, which we are already excited to start.
...thanks to all the listeners and fans of metal or music for any matter, because having such an amazing music scene is only possible because of yours and all of our love and passion for music.
